High School Musical

Any thought on the High School Musical pep rally at MGM. My daughter and son are HUGE fans and we are going in July and would like to hear what people have to say about it.

From what I have read, it's a HSM fan's highlight. Not to be missed. I am defiantely going to make sure me and my DD catch it this time...we skipped it when it was a the MK due to lack of time and me not wanting to hear "you getcha yourself into the game" LOLOLOL

If the kids like the movie, then take the time to watch the show. Your decision is that easy.
It's lost on me, partly due to my own experiences with real life high school musicals.

It's a live staged show that they started performing in Tomorrowland and recently moved to Disney-MGM Studios. Check your park schedule for performance times. Technically, it's the High School Musical Pep Rally.

It is not to be missed if you are a HSM fan. They bring a rolling stage/float out in front of the sorcer's hat in MGM. It is much better than when it was in Tomorrowland. We have seen both. They interact with the kids and it is very high energy. We loved it!

Check the time's guide when you enter the park.

There's only one thing wrong with the entire concept. They don't have pep rallies for the senior class musical. They're lucky to have pep rallies for football anymore!

I have heard different things. Are there different shows and are the times posted? I have heard that the show changes throughout the day and that it also moves around the park. DDs are Wildcat freaks (I too know all the words to the songs

). We were unable to see it in Jan because they were in the process of moving it to MGM

.

When we were there last week, the stage and cheerleaders came down Hollywood Blvd to in front of the Sorcer's Hat. It was a really cute show and lasted about 20-25 minutes. Shows were several times throughout the day. A must do for HSM fan!

I am really excited about this. Sometimes I feel my DD is borderline too old for the princess/character thingy. She will freak out when she hears about this. She is really into High School Musical and knows all the steps and all the words to the songs!

My DD who is 9 absolutely loved it the pep rally!!! It was really exciting! They sung A LOT of the songs from the show and had dance moves to go with it! They also got children from the audience to participate. My DD got chosen and got to learn the steps and then do the dance with them!! It was so cute! If your child loved the movie, they will also love the pep rally!

My daughter is going to love this. She just saw the movie for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it.
