M:S, Pop Century, and Expedition Everest

Wow, Wow, Wow. What a day for Disney fans.

This is all official, no rumors.

Pop Century is now taking Reservations starting Dec. 14th.

Mission: Space is now officially set to open Aug. 15 (this could change but it is the official date now)

Here are exclusive pictures of the insides of M:S and the ride pod: Mission: Space

Expedition Everest is now the name of the new ride set to open in Asia at DAK in 2006.

Well, these come from press releases, I just don't know how to find the actual release. :laugh I'm sure you will be able to track them down. The Opening dates came from Kingdom Konsultants, so you should get that and the AK info soon anyway from Mouseketrips.

One word: WOW! lol. This is gonna be a busy time for the Imagineers! Can't wait to go on both rides, and also stay at the Pop Century!! This is great news! Now I've got a reason to visit disney in 2006! lol.

2003 - Philharmagic and Mission: Space
2005- 50th Anniversary
2006 - Expedition Everest.

Curious, I wonder why Philharmagic wasn't mention or the Character Round up at Frontierland, both of those should open pretty soon and seem to be big deals.

Also, what's in store for 2004? :laugh

Awesome, Everest in 2006? Shoot I was hoping for late 2005, hmm, maybe a soft opening by then?? Or I can just use it as an excuse to take a cruise in 2006 and stay at WDW for a couple of days. Oooo, the possibilities!!

I;ll make sure that I go sometime in August (for a day trip) and try this. It sounds awsome!! I'll be sure to post about it, as I'm sure everyone here going in August will!!! I'm sure my son won't ride on this (it may be too much for him) so I'll parent swap w/my friend so we can each try this. :hmmm Or maybe take a trip w/out him....and ride all the rides that day!!!:whistle:
