So in the past we have not been big park hoppers. We usually stayed in one park ALL DAY with no breaks. However, since we have a 4 month old this time we are modifying our "usual" park plans. Please see the questions at the end. So here are my plans: ( we are there from May 24-June 2)

Thursday (Arrival) No Park Maybe DTD and swimming
Friday MGM AM Magic hours/break/MK PM Magic Hours (dinner at LTT 5:30)
Saturday Epcot (breakfast SBPrincess 9:05AM)/break/AK maybe? not sure
Sunday MK (CP 11:45)/break/back to MK PM Magic Hours
Monday Typhoon Lagoon/break/Boma 5:10 PM AK PM Magic Hours
Tuesday AK (Donald's 8:20)/break/no set evening plans (part of pary left AM)
Wednesday MGM (Sci-FI 12:10PM)/break/probably MK or DTD
Thursday MK AM magic Hours/break/ Epcot (Le Cellier 4:00 PM)
Friday OPEN (Do what we want to)/ DD at BBB/1900 Park Fare 5:00 PM
Saturday No PARK! Time to leave. Chef Mickey's 8:20 AM


So my goal is to get in as much as possible Friday thru Tuesday because my aunt, uncle and their grandson will be there those days. This will Corey's first trip so I want him to see all 4 parks. What do you think? Are the AK PM Magic hours worth it? Are the animals active that late? Does the safari close at dark?

I think your plans look great - boy am I jealous of such a long trip!!

I don't know anything about AK EMH, but I think your trip looks really well planned out and you've got some great ADRs picked! Two thumbs up!

I can't help you with the AK evening EMH questiosn, sorry. But it looks like you do have room to spend more time at AK the day after if you find out the AK EMH is too busy. Since you'll be at Boma that night anyway, would your group be willing to give it a try and leave if it's crazy? I hope someone has an answer for you about the EMH :)

will you have much time at AK for emh? what time does it close that night? when we go, in Sept, AK closes at 5, so even with EMH, it closes at 8. so, we wouldn't have time to go to EMH after Boma (at least not much). I don't know what time it closes on the day you are going - just wanted to throw my thoughts about it out there.

you have some great plans, though! having that flexibility will be nice!

Bella, would you mind riding on the roof? We bought a Tahoe for the trip in May (because we knew my Camry wasn't going to hack it with all the baby stuff) and we are taking out the 3rd of seats for luggage and all the baby stuff. So if you don't mind riding on the roof we'll slow down and you can crawl up the back!! HAHAHA We actually do come thru Columbia, meet us at the exit to go onto 26 to Charleston!

My DD would love have to someone she can talk to for 9 hours! She is a non-stop talker!

In my experience, EMH at MK is just horrible. I got stuck in line for 2 hours waiting for for a bus to take us back to CBR. I only went on two rides in 2 hours in the park, too.

Actually I don't even live in Columbia anymore! I live in Hilton Head now..so that is TOTALLY on your way And for your NEXT trip I'll live in Inman, SC..and I did a little Google search and I know you're not too far from there!!
And I'll ride on the roof..just bring the bungee cords and I'll strap on!
