Where to buy tickets?

Will I be able to buy our park passes at SSR when we check in?

We've done this in the past at other resorts, but this is our first time renting points for a DVC resort and I'm not sure if it works the same way.

Yes, you can buy passes right there in the check in center just like at any other resort. You can save a few bucks by getting them in advance however.

Can I still get them in advance and how would I do it? I thought it might be too late.

It should work just like a booking at any of the other resorts. Just modify your reservation either on the WDW website or give them a call. Since it's DVC stuff I don't know if you can do it on the site, but you should have no problem giving them a call and asking to have your passes added to your reservation.

It /might/ be too late, but I'm sure they'll do their best to accommodate you.

You can buy them at your local Disney Store as well.

I usually buy my tickets through Disney and ask that they be held so I can pick them up when I arrive. Once I get to my resort or a park I go to a ticket window or Guest Services and give them my information and get my tickets. It's easy and I don't have to go out of my way to get them.

Sounds easy enough. I didnt' want to waste time once we get there organizing the tickets, but with this being a DVC rental I don't have a hotel reservation like I usually do. I'll call WDW tonight and hopefully we'll be all set to get there.

I can't believe there are only 9 days left! There are 4 very excited people in my house!

If you add the tickets in advance, I know you get the nice plastic ones, and you can then buy stuff at the parks and have it sent back to your room that day! Nice perk! If I remember correctly, you can also use the cards to charge back to your room, but I could be mistaken... it has been awhile.
When we last did it, it was called "length-of-stay" tickets...

Yes, if you are staying on Disney property you can have your purchases at the parks and DTD sent back to your room.
