Busiest park days

Does anyone have stats on which day of the week tends to be busiest for which park? I'm working on my itenerary and am lacking this info as I haven't gotten my new Unofficial Guide yet (will be delivered Wed!). I can't plan my ADR's until I know which parks we'll be going to on which day. TIA!!!

Trust me, there is no way to be absolutely sure. However, Walt Disney World - Disney World Vacation Information Guide - INTERCOT - Walt Disney World Inside & Out has this info:

What days are historically the busiest at the Parks?
Walt Disney World parks tend to be the busiest on the following days:

Magic Kingdom: Monday, Saturday & Sunday
Epcot: Wednesday & Friday
Disney-MGM Studios: Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday
Animal Kingdom: Monday, Tuesday & Friday

Extra Magic Hour will have an impact on the crowds. You can find more details and information on those specific days by clicking here.

Thursday is usually an EMH day for the MK in the evening. If anything, that is the busy park.

I think Thurs must just be a slower day. Thurs is indeed an EMH day at MK. Probably a great day to hit MGM since it's a small park and fills quickly because of it's size. Maybe AK in the morning while it's still cool enough for the animals to be out and MGM in the afternoon and stay for Fantasmic? :)

I always avoid MK for sure on Saturday afternoons and usually try to avoid the parks altogether on Saturday afternoon. That's when you'll probably find me in a Sea Raycer on Seven Seas Lagoon waving at you in the crowd.

I too believe that it's difficult to predict.

Unofficial Guide usually rates Sat. as one of the better days to visit MK. If I recall correctly, they explain it as so many people attempt to avoid MK on Sat. due to the fear of crowds that it balances itself out - making it one of the better days to visit the park. I visited MK on a Sat. in July and didn't find it too bad at all. But, who is to say that Intercot isn't right and I was just lucky that one day?

I always avoid the MK on the weekends. It's where most of the locals will head to if the weather is good...that plus who ever is staying on property will make it really crowded no matter what time of year you are visiting. Epcot handles crowds the best because of it's size and the other two (AK and MGM) are best toured if you get there at rope drop and get out right after lunch time.
