Restaurant "Must-Eats"

How about this:

I will be in WDW the last week of June and have the Dining Plan. I want to eat at the best/most unforgettable restaurants at each park. Needless to say, I need to jump on the reservation train and call, I just can't seem to decide which restaurants at each park!

So please help! Which ones are "must-eats" and which are just hype.

This is what I am thinking from reading other posts:

MK - Lunch: Starlight Cafe --- Dinner: Liberty Tree Tavern
EPCOT - Lunch: Liberty Inn --- Dinner: Coral Reef/Garden Grill
AN K - Lunch: Tusker House --- Dinner: Boma (I know, in the lodge)
MGM - Lunch: Rosie's --- Dinner: 50's Prime Time

Also: Are there any "must-eats" in the resorts? Which character breakfasts are really good and which are just ok?

Aren't I full of questions?????

Re: Restaurant "Must-Eats"

I don't know the Liberty Tavern, I have never been there. The menu doesn't strike me as unforgettable, but then, there's the character interaction.

At MK - I MUST never not do Crystal Palace for breakfast. I love that place.

This year we will be trying for the first time
1. Le Cellier at Epcot
2. Yachtsmen Steakhouse
3. Tusker House
4. Citricos
5. Wolfgang Puck
6. Flying Fish
7. Blue Zoo

And there are a few more I'd like to try but I don't know if we have enough time to fit that all in.

Isn't it a pain with the dining plan to figure this all out? I felt a whole lot less pressure the last time we went without the plan. I did have ADRs way in advance, but this time around, it's just difficult

Re: Restaurant "Must-Eats"

Epcot for lunch has so many options. Almost every country in the World Showcase has very good counterservice. The fish & chip stand in the UK, Boulangerie Bakery in France, Tangerine Cafe in Morocco - to name a few. The Seasons Food Court in The Land Pavilion has excellent food.

Re: Restaurant "Must-Eats"

I loved LeCellier, Whispering Canyon. I was seriously disasppointed in 50's Prime Time :-( and Tusker House. There were 6 of us at the Tusker House and we all got different items. No one person in our party enjoyed the meal, except the cheese cake desert.

Re: Restaurant "Must-Eats"

MK: CS - Caseys
TS - I'd leave the park (Ohana, Kona or Whispering Canyon were our top choices )

AK: we only ate at Flame tree - it was ok - would do it again if no other choices (looking forward to new one in AK)

MGM: ABC commisary & toy story pizza planet are the only ones we've been to, but momma melrose looks good for a TS

EP: CS - Tangeriene Cafe (morrocco) & the Mexico one (why don't I remember the name?) were great
TS - we are trying LeCellier, Marrakesh, Rose & Crown, & Akershus this trip - also looked at Coral Reef.

Have fuN!!!
