Breakfast before the Magic Kingdom Opens

Hi Everyone,
We have reservations at Crystal Palace for 8:10am, and I know the park doesn't open until 9:00am that day, so I was just wondering if there was a certain entrance we have to go to at the park that day, to get in? This is the first time we have a reservation before the park opens, so I just want to be prepared!
Thanks

We did that last year and as I recall, you just tell them you have an early reservation and they let you in. I took our confirmation number with us, just in case.

It was wonderful walking up Main Street with hardly anyone there!

They start running buses to MK from the resorts at 7 AM and the only drop off point is the MK bus station. Also, the monorails are in operation by 7 AM as well. This goes for all the parks, not just MK. Guests are only admitted at the parks' main gates.

Re: Breakfast before the Magic Kingdom Opens

I am sure you know this, but remember you still have to get there early enough to get to the Main gate before 8am. Years ago before we found Disney Central or Mousebuzz, we forgot that if you drove to the park, you parked at the TTC. I had not taken into consideration that we still had about an hour wait to get from TTC parking lot to the Magic Kingdom front gates.

If you are staying on site and using the buses, then you will be dropped off at the Magic Kingdom front gates and avoid the TTC all together.

Enjoy the walk down Main Street by yourself. It will be an awesome experience.

You are right. I didn't even think about all of this. I figured we would have to get to the park around 7:00am ish to get parked, through the gates, and then down to Crystal Palace for around 7:30-7:45ish. Does this sound reasonable??? Or should I plan on getting to the parking lots earlier than 7:00am. We are staying off property at one of our timeshares, so we will be driving to the Magic Kingdom. How much time do you think we will need for everything????

Re: Breakfast before the Magic Kingdom Opens

The one and only time we parked at the TTC, it took us 1 HR from the time we parked to the time we were at the main gate. We opted to take the Monorail rather than the boat over to the Magic Kingdom, but the line was very long. This was 1 Hr before the park even opened.

Re: Breakfast before the Magic Kingdom Opens

You go a great ADR time! I always get the 8:05 for CP when it's a non EMH day. You go to a sperate line for ADR people only....it's clearly marked. You will not be allowed to enter the park until 8am, so haul butt down to CP to make it on time..lol

I was playing. You really don't have to run. The MK phtographers are slick and grab people when they come in...it will give you the advantage on getting there before them....avoid the camera people until AFTER breakfast. You should be able to go in, see every single character and eat by 8:40 latest unless you all like to linger over your meal. DO not linger...head right to the castle and get to the rope right by CRT.....knock people over to get into tinkerbell's treasure first so your kids can wake tinkerbell up. You can have the entire fasntasy land done twice by 10:30am if you do it in this order

dumbo X2
pooh
peter pan x 2
phillharmagic
small world
snow white if you must
pooh again
and then watch phillharmagic once more

go to tomorrow land right after and do in this order

space
buzz

run across the hub and do
jungle cruise
pirates
splash and
BTMMR

all of this can easily be done by noon....sorry for going all control freak on you....

Re: Breakfast before the Magic Kingdom Opens

if this is your first day... your family will be so excited that they will be up very early anyway. They will be up and ready to go- so you might as well have an early breakfast and be ready to enter the park at 9:00 am. You have made a perfect resservation time. Enjoy your breakfast!
