Feelin' Excited...

Do you find that you feel the most excited WHILE you're on your WDW trip and going from park to park or BEFORE your trip actually comes, with the anticipation of your trip just eating you up? For me, I'd probably have to say BEFORE the trip comes because by the time I'm there, I'm so focused on rushing around to ride and re-ride and re-re-ride my favorite rides that I don't think about how excited I am just to be there.

I love the thrill of the "big plan" but while I'm there my excitement is just as high. It's on the last day that i start to feel very badly about coming home.

:D I am so excited I'm coming out of my skin.......We have not been able to take a vacation in 11 years(no money, can't get the same week off we when we are both working, taking care of mother-in-law) Anyway I have already packed the kids clothes for the most part. Iam crossing the days of the calendar as we speak. I am way more excited than my husband and kids.Dh just doesn't get that excited about anything and the kids said that they just don't know what to expect. They think the fair that comes to town every year is big and exciting......... WAIT till they see WDW..:laugh

I am excited from the moment I book my trip and that excitment just increases as we get closer and finally get there. Now that I have 17 days left I am about to burst!:laugh

I won't come down until the evening before we have to go home.:nooo:

I would have to say both. I love the anticapation of the planning and when you get there, ohhhh, I just can't quell the excitement.

I voted before but I'm excited the whole time but the day before we arrive at WDW I'm like bouncing off the walls. I felt like a kid when we drove up to CBR in March. That was our first onsite visit and I was wired! I will never forget that feeling of driving up to the guard shack and me and mom just going on and on about how beautiful, oh wow. GREAT MEMORY!!

I can't vote either way. I'm excited the whole time. This is the longest I've planned a vacation to WDW, and it's driving me crazy:dazed in a good way. I love all the excitement of finding new *different* things to do at WDW!!! I know we'll be just as excited while we are there. The last time we went to just the resorts last christmas (not even the parks) my grandmother came w/us. She was so *tickled pink* about how excited and happy I was. She told me I was like a brand new person when I was there!! (we were at chef mickeys at the time). I can't wait to see what she thinks of me this June when we all get to hit all the parks!! Like everyone else, I always feel sad the day we leave to head home. I"m very lucky this year, to have a few very short trips planned, so I *hope* this should cut down on the Disney Depression I feel when we are heading back home!! So I"m just as excited planning the trip as I am when I am there!!

I would have to say before. I like the anticipation. I am going in September and I keep talking about it to my husband and he doesn't understand. he says I am ruining the excitement.

I am so nuts I usually make an itinerary with pictures and all of the confirmation numbers and addresses and phone numbers for everything.

HI~~

I am hoping that I will be just as excited on the trip!!! The last time we went we only know like 40 days ahead of time and we did not have a forum to go to. BUT>>>>>> this time we have been counting down on a white board since we were at 120 days!!!! We have also been involved in Disney forums. SO>> I am a little worried we are building ourselves up to much. I hope that like some of you though it will not matter!

We Leave soon!!!

Will be staying at the boardwalk villas!! YAY!!

I'm just straight out, going nuts! The intital planning was pretty exciting, but the current anxiety level is very high since we are leaving real soon. I thnk that when we arrive, there is a sense of relaxation since the hard part is over and its time to enjoy. I am usually in a euphoric state that I am not really aware of that dreaded last day until it sadly arrives. With always a tear, we vow to come back soon. :)

we are most excited while there .. but the excitement does start for real the minute I have actually booked the vacation and then grows stronger every day ... the least exciting day ... the last .. we are all like poor eeyore
