Photo Pass Question

Ok...to most of you this is probably a really silly question...but I am a bit confused about photo pass. Is this something that you can purchase? What exactly is Photo Pass?

THANKS!!!!

Re: Photo Pass Question

Hi!

Photopass is a little plastic (think credit card) card, that each park photographer scans and links all your pictures you have taken by them. To have the pictures taken, is free.

You can then either check your pictures daily, and purchase any photo's you'd like then, or wait until you get home, and go online and see all of what was taken. You have the option to buy a photo CD, with all the photopass pictures on it for $125.00, and print any photos you'd like once at home.

Re: Photo Pass Question

That is pretty great. How do you get the photo pass (or do you just get it when you buy your tickets)?

THanks for your help on this one.

Each photographer will have blank cards. You will want to save yours and use it over and over.

So once I get the first blank card I can give it to each Photo Pass person?

Re: Photo Pass Question

The first time you get any pictures taken, the photographer will ask you if you have one. If you don't he/she will start a new one for you.

It sounds a little odd at first, but all of the photographers seem to have it down to a science.

One recommendation though: TAKE A PICTURE OF IT!

I know that seems a little odd, but the numbers on the back of the card can wear off. If you take a picture of it, you'll have a permanent record. (even if you lose it)

Re: Photo Pass Question

They are the photos taken of you by the photographers, like the meet and greets with the characters and such. You can just view them, they are available to look at or purchase for a limited time online, but you don't have to buy them. They sell the individual pictures or you can purchase a CD for $125 and you can use it anyway you want, print any or all pictures or just play it for anyone.

Re: Photo Pass Question

You can also do other things with the pictures that you take with photo pass. You can get a book, cd, print pictures. There are a thousand things that you can do with those pictures.
I have made the cd for the past two years. I use their photopass pics of my kids, plus pics that I took and downloaded into their system, plus there are pics that are generic (the castle, mickey, etc) that you can use. We have done this and it is great fun for the kids. It depends on how many pics they take of you whether the $125 is worth it.

You are not limited to just the $125- however nothing is inexpensive.

oh yeah- we bought the book this year too- it was great.

I think that the link is [url=http://www.disneyphotopass.com] (someone correct me if I am wrong)

Re: Photo Pass Question

We just ordered the book. It took us so long to do it though cause it was to fun to pick all the different back grounds and stuff. I cant wait to see it when it gets here. We love what it looks like on line but I know its going to be better in person.

Re: Photo Pass Question

My DD told me you can have several photo pass cards on one account. Does anyone know about this? I'm hoping this is true so with this family trip even when we aren't all together, we can still be getting pictures taken and they will all be on one CD.
