About the weather.....it just depends. Normally in the summer time there are storms or at least rain, almost daily, from say 2pm-7pm....sometime in that time frame. They could last from 1/2 hour to about 2 hours. It's not normally an all day thing. We live in tampa, so our time frame is a little different, but the weather is mostly the same. I have noticed on the doppler that it has been rainy over there the last few days. I'm hoping for the best this next week, and will have ponchos in our backpack for everyone!! (i have a disney one from a past trip, but my mom and grandma went to walmart and got one each for $0.97!!! They fold up small so you can pack them in your pocket if you want. Very good deal!!The ones at the park run about $6.00, which isn't too bad either)

Heather ~ not sure if you will see this before you leave, but I know you leave tomorrow, so have a fantastic time for your fun filled week :) I hope you and Brandon have any awesome time and lots of good weather. Thanks for the tips about the WalMart ponchos, going to get some tonight for our trip :)

You are so lucky! You get to go 2 times in the next 6 months...I wish I lived closer....ahhhhhhh, someday.....;)

Looks like you live further away than I do....New York...that's on my list of things to do, also! I want to use my DVC points at The Plaza....

It's getting to the point where I hate living here in New York...I know everyone wants to come and visit, but I am getting so sick of it here...maybe I am in such a bad mood because the weather has been so horrible lately...it's been raining for like a month straight!!! Is this what it's like to live in Seattle, or even London???

Sorry for sounding so depressing...it HAS to be the weather!!!

Anyway, You should come to visit...and definitely stay at the Plaza!!! I have never stayed there (or anywhere in the city for that matter...I live 15-20 minutes away, I wouldn't spend the $$ to stay in the city...it is SOOOOOOO EXPENSIVE!!!! :madmad )
Plus, I work in the city and can't wait to go home on Friday after work and not have to go back until Monday morning!!!

I am finally doing that single digit boogie!!! I am so excited I can hardly stand it! I haven't been in 14 years and my DH has never been! I eat, sleep, and do everything Disney! Reading this board has really helped me plan my trip! Thank you guys for all the great info!!:) :love:

CKS Granny: Isn't that wild that we will just miss each other! Where are you staying? We are staying at ASMU. One of our clients at the hair salon where I work was also going to be there for over a week and leaving the day we arrived!

We're now down to just within hours.

We're having Micky pizza (an idea I got off a thread here) for supper and I bought Mickey cookies for dessert. Maybe I'll try making ice cream balls and forming Mickeys out of them. Do you thing I've gone over the edge? LOL
