Candlelight Processional

The Candlelight Processional is one of the not to be missed holiday shows at Walt Disney World. A Disney tradition since 1958, the Candlelight Processional enthralls thousands of guests each year as a Celebrity Guest narrates the Christmas story, accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and a glorious mass choir. Guest choirs travel from as far away as the UK to sing with over 400 performers each evening. The Candlelight Processional takes place in the American Gardens Theatre and is included with Park admission.

Candlelight Processional Dining Packages (Booking begins July 2, 2007)

The best way to enjoy the Candlelight Processional is with the Candlelight Processional Dining Package, which includes preferred seating for the Candlelight Processional and dining at select Epcot restaurants. Enjoy a meal at one of Epcot’s fine restaurants and have a guaranteed seat for the show. For some performances, this is the only way to get a seat in the theatre. Those guests who have a Candlelight Processional Dining Package are seated first (it is recommended you be at the theatre no later than 30 minutes prior to show time). Once the Dining Package guests are seated, any remaining seats are filled in with non-package guests in the standby line.

Dining packages are defined in tiers. The lower tier represents the lower-priced dining venues.

All dining will be scheduled prior to the performance time chosen. The 5:00pm Candlelight Processional show will have separate lunch pricing. The 6:45pm and 8:15pm Candlelight Processional shows will have Dinner pricing.

Guests who have the Magic Your Way Dining Package or MYW Premium or Platinum packages will use one (1) Table Service or dinner entitlement regardless of which restaurant is chosen.

To book the Candlelight Processional Dining package, you can call 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463) or ask your Disney travel specialist to make your arrangements for you.

Please note, the Candlelight Dining Package will be paid for at the individual restaurant where the preferred seating badge will then be distributed. All reservations will be held with a credit card guarantee.

YES, you can use the DP!!! And it's just 1 credit! Not sure about the menu, since I've never done the package.

Great!! This year I will book for all narrators because last year there were so many changes that I would have wanted to see but didn't have ressies for. I am so thankful that I am able to do this.

Thanks for the info, Kim! You're always good to keep us informed. I was thinking these wouldn't be bookable until August. If not for you, I might've missed out. Now I'll be dialing first thing July 2 (that's not far away! )

Thank you Kim for posting this, We are booked for the GARDEN GRILL on the 17th and had no idea about this!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not even a CM told us over the phone when we booked!!!!

Do you know how long this is?

Val, I remember the performance being about 45 minutes.

We saw Rita Moreno, now looks like we'll be seeing David Robinson. I've known of him since his college basketball days. Has it been 20 years?

This is an AMAZING event!!!! You guys should NOT miss it! And you will get KIRK CAMERON if you see it on 12/17! I used to LOVE LOVE LOVE him! I think he was my first crush, really.

Anyway, on July 2nd, you are gonna have to call back and convert that ADR into a package...you're gonna have to book a package, then cancel your existing ADR. The CM will totally walk you through it! Just tell the CM that takes your call that you already have an ADR for that day, and now you want a package.

I saw Rita Moreno!!! And she was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!! She really took my breath away, the way she read. I would love to see her again! Strange, she's not doing it this year.

I definately wanted to check it out! I had no idea there was a package! We will be eating at GG, probably will have to eat earlier now. I dont know if I want to wait for the 2nd one (will it be COLD?) or ride some rides and do that last? Decisions, Decisions!
