OMG!! I don't think anyone here was thinking it was an "urban legend", that's just horrible!! I would pray there would be nobody that low to make up something like that about a child! I just wanted to read about the accident and see what Disney had to say about it. I know it wasn't there fault, but I thought they would probably make a statement. I remember when the little boy stepped off of the Big Mountain Railroad ride too early and it caught his foot, Disney was very good to do all they could to make the situation right. Even though it wasn't their fault and things like this happen all over, I would think if it happened in Disney they would probably be generous enough to help the family out however was possible. I know they go out of their way usually for small things that happen, so something like this I can just imagine what they would try to do to help the grieving family who's life will never be the same.

Disney has not made a statement because the accident happened at Universal Studios, per a close family friend who babysat for the surviving child during the funeral! Perhaps the title of this thread should be edited to reflect the correct place, so we can stop looking to Disney to take responsibility for this terrible accident.

I agree since this happened at Universal, and this kind of thing can happen any where, any time, to anyone.
