Extra Magic Hours and AP's

We have AP's this year and will be staying at the Contemporary in December. We stayed at the YC in June and had no problems getting in for extra magic evening hours. However I saw three people being turned away with AP's . I was just wondering if we lucked out. My DH seems to think that must not have been staying at a resort.

I am asking the experts, we I be okay for our December Trip with AP's and our resort id

As long as you are staying on site and have a resort ID along with your AP you will be just fine.

Maybe by the time the people that got turned away got to the front of the line they had run out of wristbands. You should be just fine so long as you have your resort ID.

No, they were in front of us, I think they were not staying on site. The woman was fighting with the CM but it was loud and I could not hear what they were saying

I've never heard of a limit on how many resort guests can attend EMH so getting a wristband shouldn't be an issue if they had resort ID.

That's the reason then. AP or not, you must be a WDW resort guest to use EMHs.

Again, EMH is not for AP holders. EMH is exclusive for official Disney resort guests (including the non-Disney Swan, Dolphin, and Shades of Green and no other hotels). If you have a valid ticket and are a WDW resort guest, you get a wrist band. If you don't have a valid ticket and aren't a WDW resort guest, you will be turned away.
