Hi...I have'nt been up-to-date on Disney for a year. I'm curious, has any new attraction been added since Everest?

Yes, a few. In AK the Tarzan Rocks show has been replaced by a new show featuring Nemo. It has gotten good reviews. Also in the living seas in Epcot there is a nemo attraction where you ride in a clam-mobile through the aquarium and nemo and friends are there along with the real fish. In MK there is a comedy show featuring Monsters,inc. across from the Stitch attraction (there's one I wish they would replace). I haven't seen them yet, but will in December. Welcome back, by the way.

Nemo is horrible. Tarzan Rocks was much better.

I think that's the worse mistake Disney's made since getting rid of the original Journey into Imagionation with Figment (actually, that was mainly Kodak's fault)!!!!!!!

I agree with you Nemo was horrible... but i didnt like Tarzan Rocks either. It wouldn't have been so bad if it hadn't been as long as it was.

Tarzan Rocks was neat because of the skating gorillas. That was the best part, definitely. I always got kinda bored during the Tarzan and Jane rope scene, but other than that, I could watch the show over and over again.

ehhhhh, Nemo is horrible? How long is that show, in case I do wander into that theater and then find that, I too, think it's horrible? Can you just get up and walk out or are you shut in for the duration?

And what is it that's horrible about the show? Do tell

Nemo is HORRIBLE . . . OMG, NO WAY! It's amazing . . . sorry can't share your opinion on that one . . . we just saw Lion King on Broadway, and it was just as good. The puppets are so cool, as are the effects . . . MY DD7 and DD3 love it too! Just make sure you are there 45 min before so you are right down in front, then you are part of the show.

OK, I originally posted on this thread, then I unposted...

Are we talking about the Nemo attraction in the Seas Pavilion? Because if we are, I gotta tell you -- DD and I got in the line, just because. We stayed in the line, since it moved along steadily. And when we got inside, the queue area was intriguing, and then we got into our clam shell and went on the voyage...

Along with all the other people on the ride, we were awed by the coolness of the ride. It is short, but really and truly creative in that very magical Disney way.

When we got in the line, we had no idea what to expect, and so the surprise at the end was such a rush!!! The surprise of its coolness made it even that much more terrific! We were so glad we got in that line!!!

PS. The show is 35 minutes, but you can get up and leave if you want too.

OH, we love the Nemo and Friends ride at Epcot too . . . I thought we were talking about Finding Nemo—the Musical at AK?

The one at Epcot is adorable and VERY Disney magical, my DD3 said when the clamshell ride was over, "Do it again MOM!" luckily even though it was high crowd season (July) the line moves quickly. As it is a fast load ride, like Haunted Mansion.

It's really a just-for-kids kind of show, in my opinion. You can leave, but it's really dark in there, so be sure to sit near the exit. I was actually thinking the show was more around 45 minutes - more, if you count the time you have to wait for it to start.

It didn't help that I was in between my younger sister and older brother, who decided to sing along to the lame songs. "It's a big bluuuuuuue woooooorrrlllllld!!!!!!" It was horrible!!! I kept cracking up laughing, and then my mother would get really mad because I was disturbing the show for everyone around me. I felt so bad. I nearly killed Clay and Rachel afterwords... nah, but I did make sure Clay didn't get his usual Dinosaur seat.

At the risk of having tomatoes heaved at me....I didn't care for the new Nemo show either. I thought it was too long, and boring. If it was really only 35 minutes, then it was twice as boring to have it feel like an hour.

I found the way they used the puppets to be distracting (either use puppets or use live actors, not both at once. didn't know where to look), and the seats were so uncomfortable (metal stadium seats) that all I could think of was getting out. But that was near impossible due to low lighting and how tightly we were crammed into those benches. It would have meant me stepping on everyone's feet and possibly tripping if I tried to get out. So I sat and waited til it was over.
There were some very pretty scenes, but not worth sitting through the whole show for.

I have no desire to go back.
