Best place for family picture

I was wondering where would be the best place for a family picture in Disney. I know there used to be a place in DTD that you would go out back and have your picture taken with Mickey with a cool back ground. But that was in 2001 and I don't remember seeing this place the last couple of times.

A family member has requested a family picture of us in Disney this trip and I really would like a nice one taken. We had a really nice on taken with our photo pass last August but I only bought 2 of them and gave them away to our parents.

Any thought?

In DTD--There's a background that says "Happy Holidays" and there are statues of the characters.

We used that as a background for Christmas cards last year.

I'm sure you could get nice family photos in front of the Castle, Spaceship Earth, The tree of Life and the Sorceror's hat in MGM.

We always have our picture taken on Main Street in front of Cinderella's Castle. To me, the castle is unmistakeable.

Right as you enter the parks, the Disney Photo Pass camera folk are ready and waiting to take your picture infront of the "icon" of the park. So you'll have a bunch to choose from. If you go to Toon Town Fair, and Mickeys House, out back you can wait in line to see Mickey himself . . . and he is standing by some cute "Country" things . . . like Mickey Head Pumpkins, etc . . . I'll attach a photo of my DD and her DF . . . I've seen plenty of familys getting their pictures too.

I always take a picture of my DD on the teacups . . . it's fun to see how much they changed each time.

Near the Magic Kingdom's big Mickey Head Garden with the train in the background is nice too!

I have to agree with you. We have used that picture over and over and I also use it to see how much the kids have grown.

I saw "cool pictures" like where to stand to "hold the Spaceship Earth" etc. Does anyone know there locations?

I think, too that each resort has it's own little place where you can get a great family photo!

I believe someone mentioned purchasing the photopass disc in advance for around $99. I wish I had known about it before I went to Disney. I would have had the photographers take so many more pictures all over the parks to make the cost worth it. You can then print up as many photos that you would like. My twelve year old son would actually let the photographers take picture of him. He always turns his head for me! I am stuck buying two 5x7 pictures for almost $25 to at least get a couple of pics of my whole family from Disney.
