Christmas Time Schedule

Does anyone know how many days after Christmas they continue to do
the fake snow? Or does it end Christmas Day?

Also is it ridiculously packed the week of Christmas?

Re: Christmas Time Schedule

Christmas week (between Christmas and New Years) is one of THE busiest times at Disney. but as you know, Disney makes it worth your while to go at those busy times by scheduling extra activities and longer park hours.

The fake snow comes down at MVMCP which runs from 11/12 through 12/21

They may also run it Christmas week. Not sure about that.

Yes, it is ridiculously packed, but every school holiday will be.

Re: Christmas Time Schedule

I know by New Years Eve they're done with the snow.
I was there on Dec.26 this past year and I'm pretty sure there was no snow.
If you want snow, go during one of the Christmas parties, and go earlier in the month as well as on Monday instead of Thursday or Friday. You'll cut way down on the crowds.

Re: Christmas Time Schedule

We were there for Christmas 2005 and there was snow up until December 29th both at MK and MGM. We are going again this year so I hope it's the same.

Re: Christmas Time Schedule

The only snow I ever want to see ever again will be the fake stuff. I asked such a dumb question about it being busy. Sorry.

It's actually not as dumb a question as all that. There are shades of busy, but on a scale of 1-10, 1 being best, 10 being worst, I'd call it a strong 9.5 from about Dec 22- Jan 1. Many people ask that question often. I wouldn't go if I didn't already have an annual pass and my house wasn't only 3 hours away, and I'd go more for the entertainment than being able to actually ride anything in a reasonable amount of time spent waiting.
