Mnsshp

We are doing this for the first time on the first night they are offering this party, Sept. 14. We have dinner reservations at Tony's Town Square at 4:50. How many ppl do you think will be dressed up? Do they supply the bags for candy? How does this all work? Do you think it will be overly crowded being its the first night of the party?

Parties are NEVER overly crowded. The reason being they only sell 30,000 tickets to each party, so even a sell-out crowd is a little over a fourth of what the capacity of MK holds.

There will be a lot of people dressed up, but there will also be those who won't. You can go either way and you will be fine.
And yes, they give you bags for trick or treating and they have stations set up all around the parks for you to go through and get your treats.
I'm not sure how crowded the first night will be, but have a great time!!

Re: Mnsshp

Babets, we will also be there on 9/14! DD is going to BBB in the castle at 420 pm to get dressed up and then we have dinner ressies at Crystal Palace following! This is our first MNSSHP and also the first time that we are taking our parents with us who haven't been there in over 20 years. I'm trying to convince everyone to get dressed up, even if it's just a little something!

Re: Mnsshp

You and your kids will have si much fun there. It is not that crowded and for the most part after the parade and fireworks ppl tend to leave. If you stay after this time the park tends to be less crowded and you can also go around to the candy spots again and get more.

Plus you get to see what everyone is dressed up as. I saw some interesting costumes last year.

Re: Mnsshp

it is such a great party! i loved it - and can't wait to go back! my favorite parts are the parade, fireworks and castle show! oh - and meeting all the villains! I am so excited for it!

candy was great - we had tons!! kids loved that part for sure!

lots of people dressed up - adults too. i am still trying to figure out what my costume will be. remember its hot, so think about that when thinking of costumes.

We attended our first MNSSHP last year in late September. I have to say that it was more crowded than I expected. It certainly didn't have the feel of a limited-admission event (like the MVMCP that I attended previously). It felt more like a regular park admission day.

But that may just have been my perception.

Re: Mnsshp

I think it really deals with what day you go on. if you go to the first couple of parties and near halloween I would think the crowds would be larger. I think we went to one last Sept in the middle of the week and we hardly had to wait for anything.
