River Country

I came across this when I was looking at Floridaorange19's monorail video. For those of you that missed River Country this is what it was like; for those who have gone just a little stroll down memory lane.

Re: River Country

OMG... I lived on the River Country inner tubes when I was a kid! I have such great memories of that place I haven't been able to go to another water park!

Re: River Country

When we did Mickey's Backyard BBQ in June we walked over to were they have the fence around what was River Country. It was a very weired feeling to see, or not see.

I was glad to hear from my son that while they were on the Pirates Excursion from the GF, they stopped at Discovery Island.

Re: River Country

I have no love of River Country - my dd almost drown there - and dh and I almost drown trying to get to her. It was terrifying. Nope, don't miss River Country at all.

I remember going there in 1993 (I think) and remember thinking it was dirty (at least the water). . .

Re: River Country

It looks like FW has a rather , dare a I say it, boring pool. It would be nice if they could convert River Country to a swim area for the FW guests.
