September Moms-only trip itinerary

I made my final

change to the itinerary yesterday. Time to post it. Feel free to comment.

Moms-only trip includes Stacy (best friend and college roommate) and me. Stacy has gone with her family (DH & 3 kids) several times in the past few years. She is going on another trip with them in Feb. 2008. I went with my family (DH, 4 kids, in-laws) in January 2007 and while I loved being there with them, I'm looking forward to experiencing WDW the no-kids way!

Our birthdays are in October (20th & 23rd) so we're celebrating at WDW in September (20th & 23rd).

Depart Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 6:35 a.m. arriving at 9 a.m.
Check in to ASMu
DTD for lunch and rental car pickup
No Way Jose at Beaches & Cream
Epcot if time before we have to go to MGM
4:20 Fantasmic dinner package at Mama Melrose

Thursday (another busy one!)
EMH at MK (just for a couple of hours)
AK
5:00 Boma
Epcot for Illuminations

Friday
MOPS convention (the reason I got to come to WDW in the first place!)
5:50 LTT
MNSSHP

Saturday
MOPS convention
MK for Spectromagic

Sunday
Checkout
Epcot
11:30 Le Cellier

I feel like I missed so much in January, so I have goals for each day.
Wednesday: Soarin’, TOT, Fantasmic
Thursday: Space Mt., all of Fantasyland; get to AK by 11:00 for EE, Kali, Nemo, KS; Illuminations
Friday: Boo to You parade, Hallowishes
Saturday: Splash, Pirates, Jungle Cruise (in the dark), Philharmagic, Spectromagic
Sunday: Soarin’, American Adventure

Less than 40 days to go. Can't wait!

I love that you have the tops that you want to be sure to get. I haven't done that (well, I have, but it seems everything is still on the list)! that way, you are sure to do what you really really want, and anything else you get to do is just gravy! great plans!!

You're going to get so much riding in on Friday during the Halloween party, especially later, you won't have much to take care of on Saturday.

MK is my friend's favorite park, so I wanted her to be able to spend a lot of time there. We're mainly going to see Spectromagic, since I've never seen it. Maybe we'll get to spend more time at Epcot, then, which I haven't been able to do since the World Showcase didn't hold a lot of appeal for the kids when we were there last time.

Your plans look perfect. I think it's so great that you are getting a girls only trip with NO kids...you totally derserve it!!

Don't forget to get the Soarin' fast passes as soon and as often as you can. Even if you give me your unused ones when you leave on Sunday.

You mean Mickey and the gang didn't tell you?
As for Soarin'. If you get there early, like opening, you should be able to get a few rides in before the lines get nasty. The early EMH day is the 25th. We're going to be doing the late Segway tour that day at 9:30, so we'll be able to get in some rides on Soarin' before the gate open the the public. I just found out about the killer. If we were staying through Sunday 30, we could go to the AP release party for the new Jungle Book DVD.
