Well, so much is going to be happening with Studios it seems lately. New name, new attractions, new parade, and now, coming in the next 2 months, a new version of High School Musical Pep Rally!

Since this month debuts the VERY highly anticipated High School Musical 2, it's probably only right to adapt the show we have now to commodate the new music and dances. Will it be the same as Pep Rally? Very unlikely. May not even be a "pep rally" anymore. I'm sure it'll have some of the same features. Sure hope we keep the stage. We spent enough money on it, so we should at least keep it a year I'd hope. So get ready to sing and dance again as we bop bop bop to the top.

I know it'll probably be within the next 2-3 months. They're already having auditions for roles in the show. Block Party begins at Studios in March.

I am glad to see they will be changing it. It is great now... but it is always nice to see a new performance.

Like there aren't parade floats laying dormant for a decade or more? No studio, entertainment venue, or production company ever throws away anything, until there's no room to store it anymore or it's really fallen apart. That portable stage can be recycled in at least 2 dozen different ways.

And you're actually right. I've seen floats stored away from decades ago, and what are now the spectromen pods used to be Chip and Dale's floats they would drive in the Surprise parade.

I'm sorry, I don't get HSM. Especially because I worked on several HSMs. If it makes everyone else happy, great. That and they have to cast real actors to perform.

My kids are doing the countdown as well . . . my DD3 even knows all the words and dance numbers!! The Pep Rally is so much fun! They get the kids involved with shooting baskets and they teach them the dance moves . . . it's a good time!

I don't think Disney Channel gets HSM. No one knew it would be such a hit!

Maybe because it gets kids off the couch and has them dancing along. Maybe it's because Zac Efron is rather attractive, and Ashley Tisdale is "total eye candy" (in Clay's words). But whatever the reason, it brought in big $$$$!!! Selling CDs, DVDs, T-shirts (my sis owns three), books... the list goes on!

Honestly, when I first watched the movie, I thought it was stupid. It grew on me, though. Having to listen to it over and over again... you begin to love the music.

Where can I find the times for the HSM at MGM. When go in Sept, my kids want to see the pep rally.

Just check a times guide when you arrive at the park. They usually start at 9:45am and go several shows on the 45s, then after their lunch it changes.
