Tower of Terror and glasses
I fell in love with the Tower of Terror on our last trip (after chickening out the 7 years before on trips). I have taken off my glasses so they won't fly off when the big drop comes, but I miss all the cool effects during the accent to the top. My question is, how safe is it to wear my glasses on the ride? Does anyone else take them off, or keep them on? I feel like I'm missing out on half the ride.

You won't have a problem, leave them on so you can enjoy the ride. My mom didn't lose hers!

I too have glasses, but have never removed them or had any problem.
I've always been more concerned about RocknRoller Coaster than Tower of Terror.

We just got back from Disney. My dad went on both the Tower of Terror and the Rockn' Roller Coaster with glasses and didn't lose them. He said he didn't even feel like he would lose them on either. So wear your glasses. Dad even asked before he got on if he should take them off and they said no wear them they won't fall off.

My best friend went on the TOT for the 1st time when we were there last year and she thought that she was going to loose them but she didnt. She like you wanted to keep them on so that she could see everything.

I've ridden ToT dozens of times and have never had a problem with my glasses. If you happen to be wearing a pin lanyard, though, be careful because the lanyard will rise up off your chest when the elevator drops.
