To Hop Or Not To Hop.. - Page 3

Dee... I thought about this thread last night, and we chatted about it at the dinner table. We all agreed that we wanted to all suggest tha tyou go ahead and buy the hoppers.
The reason is that if even a single day came when you wanted to do two parks, but you were stuck just with one, it would be so sad!
DH also said to mention that sometimes, you go into a park only to find that everyone on the planet is also there, and it is a nice option to pop over to another less-crowded park as soon as you realize the crowd situation.

Requiem, we Florida residents, especially passholders, treat WDW differently than those who have only made the Hajj to WDW once or twice in their lives. We (Floridians) have been there several times and have very targeted plans most of the time and have a better idea of what we want to accomplish on these day trips and weekend trips. Park hopping, for us, is like breathing is for everyone else.
You are right, it is a very individual choice whether to buy the hopper option or not.

We hop all most every sigle day were there, but if you don't hop then it would be better for an extra night.

I say wait on the hopping option. You will have 7 days to visit the parks. If one of the days you are tired, go back to your hotel and return later in the evening. September should not be too crowded due to school being in session.
We have had AP's and hopped and had regular tickets and hopped too but again if you plan things out then save the money and use the extra day.

Another option is get a 10 day no hopper ticket and spend time at a value resort using the difference in the money. Just a thought. Good luck.

Gotta hop!

I just like having the freedom.

Especially the freedom to eat at Tangierine Cafe in Epcot whenever the mood strikes.

Value... my DH doesn't will not stay at value, he rather spend the extra $$$ in a moderate or deluxe, he just felt that the hopper was a waste of $$

If you like fireworks then park hopping is the way to go.

My husband wants to see fire works every night and my family loves them as well.

We have always park hopped, we believe it is worth the extra money.

There is something to be said for the freedom to roam about the parks.

Good luck with your decisions.

Oh we decided we had to hop mainly because of our ADRs and FREE DINING!

I don't think you'll regret your decision. We always hop, if only just to avoid crowds. We do an EMH then get the heck out of that park before the hoards come in.

I use to hop all the time. Last trip, we didn't, and we realized how much extra time we had in our day when we weren't traveling, parking, etc.
