New Oh Canada - Oh foo

After watching the revised Oh Canada film, I was not impressed. The updates consists of Martin Short and scenes of various tall buildings in downtown areas. To be blunt, most of the downtown areas shown could have been anywhere.

I have never watched the show...not the old one or the new one. I am sorry to hear that the new version isn't up to snuff.

That's too bad. There are so many beautiful places in Canada. Who wants to look at big ol' buildings???

Re: New Oh Canada - Oh foo

To be honest, we weren't very impressed with the old version. (Kind of hokey.) Haven't seen the new one but most likely will not go. We didn't feel that it really captured the "true feeling" of what we see every day.

Same for us, DS can't watch them either. I haven't been to O'Canada in years, in fact we really don't spend all that much time in the Canadian pavilion, I think it's just because it's usually the last country we tend to visit and the kids are kind of "countried" out.

Re: New Oh Canada - Oh foo

I have the oppposite problem. DH loves Canada. It is the first country we visit and the last. I usually just sit on the steps and want for him.

Well that's too bad! I liked the original. I'll have to check out the new one for myself.
