Do I boot SeaWorld for another WDW park day?

Ok....so our trip is right around the corner and I have been fairly satisfied with our Park Day plan, ADR's and general time lines. Here is what it looks like:

Players are:
Me, DH, DD (3), DD (1) and DMIL

we will also be traveling with dear friends of ours (DH, DW, DD (3) and DD (7 mos.)

Day 1
Driving to WDW
ADR's for Hoopty Doo Review (5:30 PM)

Day 2
Animal Kingdom
MVMCP

Day 3
Sleep in (hopefully) and play at the Resort in AM
Dress up the girls for thier lunch with Cinderella
Magic Kingdom Day
ADR's for CRT (11:30 AM)

Day 4
Disney Studios Day
ADR's Hollywood and Vine (11:30 AM, to play with JoJo and friends)

Day 5
SeaWorld

Day 6
ADR's Chef Mickey's (9:50 AM)
Epcot (Candlelight Processional- Whoo Hoo)

Day 7
Free day to do another WDW Park (or parks)

Should I skip SeaWorld this trip? I really LOVE SeaWorld and think that the kids would have a great time, but I really LOVE WDW and don't want to miss anything. I feel like we have plenty of time and could squeeze in SeaWorld, but what do you all think?

All advice welcome!!!

i really don't think you'll need all of day 5 for seaworld. but, because you're not doing a disney package thing, you can't really split the day up between seaworld and a disney park because it would be way too expensive. i love seals and dolphins too, but hey, you can see them on animal planet, lolol

SeaWorld is great and all... I remember enjoying a little Disney break when I was a kid, only... that extra Disney day... would be lost...

I dunno. It's up to you. (I'm some help, aren't I? )

Since you will be doing the MVMCP, I think you should go ahead and see Seaworld. Doing the party is like having an extra day at the MK, so go and enjoy Seaworld.

You have got it right....I am not doing a park hopper (well, maybe not...I still haven't purchased my tickets). However, adding another single park day really isn't that much. I can add another WDW park day for $5.32 for all of us...so really we could do a WDW park that evening when we return. Another thought is that we could spend SeaWorld evening at Downtown Disney. What do you think?

Re: Do I boot SeaWorld for another WDW park day?

I love Sea World and a lot of attractions outside of WDW so I'm a little biased. I say go for a day or at least half a day at Sea World.

The girls are so young that they don't really know what to expect. This is a first trip for them. My DH and I really love SeaWorld, but don't want to compromise our WDW trip.

Keep in mind that as much as we would like to do Disney every year...we will probably not be returning for several years (like 3 to 5 years) so we would like to make the most of it. I think my girls (3 and 1) would really like the "hands on" experience of SeaWorld.

What to do, what to do

I know that whatever route we go we are going to have a great time....I just want to make the right choices.

Re: Do I boot SeaWorld for another WDW park day?

Born in Orlando I love all the parks. Deep down I love Disney and love everything that is Disney. But Sea World has things that are not offered and cant be missed. The sea life there you cant see anywhere but on T.V. and the kids would love it.

I know....some of my favorite memories are of the interactive things that you do with the sealife (feeding the dolphins, touching the sting rays, SHAMU, etc....).

I trust you ladies. What would you put in place of SeaWorld and on my final day? I am still on the fence, but I am not planning on hopping. Keep in mind we will not be commando because of the small ones....but we are using a guideline.

Re: Do I boot SeaWorld for another WDW park day?

Since you have been to SeaWorld before, I think you should bypass it for this trip and get another day to either relax at the resort or go to Disney for another day!

If you like SeaWorld then you might want to share it with your kids. Every family is different, we can and do spend 2 full weeks at WDW and never leave the property. I like SeaWorld but don't love it so it doesn't bother me to skip it at all. If and when my son asks to go then we'll go.

It sounds like you really want to share SeaWorld with your family, if you do then I think you should keep it in the plans.
