question on new MK stage show

i was watching a video that my dad made of the new MK stage show. i noticed right away that the mouths were moving on mickey, minnie and the gang and their eyes blink!! when did they start doing this? this is so incredible. i wonder why disney took this long to use that kind of technology to make the characters even more life like.

It was like that in August too...I didn't actually watch the show, but nutty and bear did. I am not certain when they started it exactly, but I want to say not that long ago...I don't remember it being like that last october when I actually did watch the castle show.

It only proves that the characters are indeed real

This addition to the show has been going on for nearly a year now. You think it looks great now, wait till the Christmas shows this year!! I'm deep in rehearsals and am getting all the more pumped up for this. CTS, Twas, and the all new Castle-Lighting (yes, they're lighting the Castle up this year and it will look glorious) shows are all going to be articulated, meaning you'll watch the characters talk and blink. Wait till you see Chip, Dale and Pluto do everything as well. Now you can never tell the children the characters are fake. Watch them...they're real!!!

Well, there's 3 of us currently training to help out Goofy in that show. One of them is a sub for me and the other guy. Have no clue who will be doing all the parties. I've a feeling since this show will be going on daily as well that there will be a 5 day helper and a 2 day helper. Soon as that schedule comes out I'll let you know, but you gotta remind me to keep checking!!!

We saw the eye blinking, mouth moving at Mickey's Magic Show, on stage in Broward . . . that was the first time, like a year and a half ago . . . and now it's at WDW . . .very cool!!
