Ok, I'm freaking out.....

Ok,ok...we are now less than a month away from our trip to WDW....and now I have everyone and their dog telling me that I picked the absolute WORSE time to do to WDW becouse it's the busiest time of the year....

Has anyone gone the week of Nov 17-24th before? If so, is it really that bad for the crowds and lines????? Please soothe my freakies!!!!

Look, don't freak out. It gets busy the Monday before Thanksgiving. That's true. But really only at MK and I speak from personal experience. If the MK is too busy for you one day, go to anyone of the 3 parks and you'll be practically alone.
Don't make yourself crazy now. You are suppose to enjoy this anticipation, not worry.

Thanksgiving is a super crowded time to go. Expect crowds and waits at popular attractions. Try to do as much as you can first thing in the morning. Parade times are a good time to get on popular attractions.

You didn't pick the worse time to go....there is no worse time. I think you may experience some crowds that week, but it won't matter with smart touring. Do you have your ADRs? Do you have a plan? If you want some help with this, please pm me and I will gladly give you a plan that will make use of your time so you aren't waiting in lines. Relax..any trip to WDw is a good one. You may just have to plan a bit more when it's busier...nothing wrong with that.

You're going to WDW--there's no bad time to go. We ALWAYS go in the summer, talk about crowded AND HOT. Relax and enjoy your trip.

I know, I know....I am driving myself crazy with worry about things that I cannot do anything about now. I just don't want our first experience to be filled with frustration. Ya know?

The best part is knowing what to expect. If you go in knowing it's going to be crowded then you won't be surprised and get fustrated by it. THere's no such thing as a perfect trip. We've had some very magical trips but mostly because we are very good about letting things roll off, we don't get stressed about the things we can't control.

Your first trip! - Calm down and take a deep breath. Everything will be just fine after all you are going to WALT DISNEY WORLD and there is no such thing as a bad day at Disney. Before our first trip my boss at the time who is huge Disney fan told me that there was no way that I was going to see and do everything in one trip. He said that is not a bad thing and nothing to be disappointed about. What it means is.....you need to plan another trip!

Take Dana's advice make some plans and have a great trip!

Congratulations on your first trip to WDW!! Most of the time we have gone during the summer...talk about CROWDS and heat to go along with it!! I haven't been during the week of Thanksgiving but I have a trip planned during that exact time for 2008 and I'm looking forward to it; crowds or no crowds. Just relax, enjoy, take it all in. Plus, you'll have all of the wonderful holiday decorations to enjoy. Have a great time!!
