We went from the 23rd to the 31st in '05, and we are going this year from the 22nd to the 31st. It was really crowded when we went, but no parks closed. I really don't have anything to compare it to because it was our first visit. Since it is the only time of the year we are able to go we are going again. It was nice and cool and on Christmas night we had to go back to the room and get our winter coats. Everything was spectacular though. Do the Candlelight Processional at Epcot, it was breathtaking,don't miss the gingerbread house at the GF, and make sure to see the Osborne Lights at MGM. I am getting excited just writing about it. The week between Christmas and New Year IS CrAzY!!!

We've done it once and it was SO CRAZY, that we're DOING IT AGAIN THIS YEAR!!

We were there last year between Christmas and New Year. It is crazy. But it was a good crazy. Everyone in the holiday spirit. Beautiful decorations to enjoy. Candlelight Processional to remind you of the true meaning of Christmas. Yeah, it was crazy. But it was worth it.

Actually , Magic Kingdom often goes to "stage 3" during the day on 12/31. At that point, admission into the park in limited to Disney hotel guests (plus Shades, Dolphin, and Swan) and AP holders only until enough people leave the park to allow day guests to enter. Nobody with only day tickets. It did this both last year and in 2005.

Well, we are about to leave. We are going to be there from the 19th and leave the evening of the 25th. So we will be spending Christmas there. I will give you a full report when we get back.
