Stupid Ticket Question

If you have a 4 day no-park hopper ticket...and you go to say AK in the morning one day..go back to the hotel..and decide to go to Epcot that night..would that count as 2 days? Or can you not do that at all?

I should really know the answer to this.

I don't think you can do that. The computer will know you have already been to another park that day and not let you through. Sorry!

If you can do it, it would be two days. However, I think I've heard that once you use your ticket on any given day in one of the 4 parks, you can't use your ticket at the other three, even if you want to burn that second day.

And that's why I always recommend hoppers, especially with AK closing much of the time at 5 PM and in off times Studios closing as early as 7. Epcot is always open until 9 and then there's still evening EMH periods to contend with.

That is a no, confirmed for sure! Our friend tried it and the ticket would not allow entrance to the second park on the same day.

I would say just pay the 40.00 to add park hopping for all the days of your ticket.

It wasn't a question of me trying to cheat the system or anything--I always buy parkhoppers because we sometimes do three parks in a day. I just noticed while pricing tickets how much cheaper non-hoppers were.

So if you go to a park in a.m. leave for a break then return to the same park in the p.m., will that work? Is that considered hopping?

That is not hopping if you return to the same park.

My parents are coming along on our trip in Sept. My step-dad did not get the hopper option

so I want to be able to let him know exactly what they can and can not do.

Disney's way of going the park hopper route...They figure you are on vacation, whats another 40, 50 1000 dollars! But def worth it. :)

You're welcome. Non-hoppers can work but they just don't have the flexability most of us like. Sone days we'll spend the whole day in the same park but most days we like to return to another park for something different.

With some good planning you can make it work.
