Epcot International Food and Wine Festival - 2008

Sample the flavors at more than 20 International marketplaces representing over 20 countries and regions. Enjoy wine and cooking demonstrations or treat yourself to one of the exclusive dining experiences available.


Entrance to the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, plus wine and beer seminars and cooking demonstrations, is included with regular admission. 2008 details to be determined.

Activities for Children:


Junior Chef Program
Children create delicious treats and savor the taste of their creations at the Junior Chef program. Kids take the gourmet center-stage as they make scrumptious chocolate chip cookies!


Living with the Land
Embark on a boat ride through a tropical greenhouse featuring bananas, jackfruits and dragon fruits, then sail by huge pumpkins and melons. Check out the fish farm and spiral-shaped lettuce-growing systems, and see thousands of tomatoes growing on world-record-producing tomato "trees"!


Behind the Seeds Greenhouse Tour
Bring the entire family for a backstage tour of The Land greenhouses and fish farm. Sample a greenhouse vegetable, release lady bugs, and feed the fish, too! Get close-up views of giant fruits, good bugs, and alligators — and take home ideas for growing your own gardens! Call 407/WDW-TOUR for reservations.

Children are encouraged to tour the promenade and visit all 11 locations where they will find a special chef's mask that they may personalize.

Chefs A' Field
Culinary Adventures That Begin on the Farm
Discover how well-known chefs bring food from the field into the kitchen, where ingredients are magically transformed into delectable dishes! A featured chef will bring the acclaimed PBS television series alive on stage and prepare a three-course lunch for all to enjoy. All Guests receive a complimentary copy of the "Chefs A' Field" book.


A Party for the Senses - Eat, Drink and Celebrate:
A Grand Tasting celebrating the sensory arts! An amazing event showcasing the talents of 25 eminent chefs and over 70 wines and beers. Wander from station to station to discover TASTES and TEXTURES, imaginative décor, and the SIGHT of the awe-inspiring acts direct from Cirque du Soleil®, La Nouba™. In addition, your evening includes VIP seating at the 5:45 p.m. performance of the “Eat to the Beat” concert series. Park admission required.


Epcot Wine Schools:
The Epcot Wine Schools consist of a day long wine education program hosted by a prestigious wine authority, continental breakfast, a wine pairing luncheon, and a certificate of completion for all attendees at the end of the day. Park admission not required.

Celebrity and Walt Disney World Chefs team up to prepare a stellar five-course meal. Renowned wine professionals will present exceptional wine from two to three different vineyards.

Signature Dining Series:
This series of dinners showcase the cuisine of our Resort Signature Restaurants. For all dinners, the hosting restaurant will invite a guest chef to join the resident chef to prepare a five-course meal. The wines of 2 or 3 wineries will be presented by winery principals Each dinner has a unique theme depending upon the date and location as indicated below.

Cheese & Wine Pairing Workshops
This workshop is a great opportunity to learn about International and Domestic regional cheeses and wines from the industry experts. Explore the myths and realities that are often associated with traditional pairings.

i think this is the info for 2007 - but its nice to see the 2008 dates! man, i wish we were going again this year - it was so much fun! such a great time trying all the food! and the DDP snack credits covered most of the things on the f & w menus!! YUM!!
