First week in April...best days to go to WDW

I think we have finally decided to got o WDW over ds's Spring Break. He is on break from March 28-April 6th. His Spring Break starts after Easter this year. We are expecting large crowds even though I think (and I could be wrong) alot of the out of state schools will be back in school already. We were thinking of going either the first weekend of his break...Fri-Sun...March 28 - March 30...or going on Monday, March 31 - Wednesday April 2nd.

Any experience with the parks during this time frame? Lesser crowds Mon-Wed ??? I heard that Sundays are really bad .... ????

Sorry to say but there's no really getting around crowds during this time of year. Spring Break is a VERY busy time of year for us. Fortunately for you, that week is when the crowds slow down a hair unlike March. It'll still be full, but you should come anyways if that's the best time. You may not be able to avoid the crowds but there's ALWAYS ways to get the best out of your trip even if it is crowded. Not everyone will be at the same park on the same day. If you go in one day and see it to be too crowded for your taste, just go to another park for the day. Just think, a lot of people will also be at the water parks due to how warm it'll be as well.

We are going April 5-11 trying to miss most of the Spring Break crowed. My kids will have to miss a week of school but it the best time for us to go. We are also going to AR in July. Right before school starts. Have fun on your trip.

Wife's birthday is the 8th and I'm planning a surprise visit.
Sometimes crowds are unavoidable when you have a special date for a celebration.

I am booked to go April 14-20 I heard this is a good time to go but the only problem is grad night at magic kingdom on fridays during this time they close the park early. last year i went around the 2nd week in april and it was not that crowed at least as spring break was concerned i think you should be fine

I would think the time farthest away from March would be the best time to go and weekdays will probably be better than weekends.

My family is going April 8-18. Rhode Island school's have April 14-18 vacation.So i'm hoping the first week would be less crowded.
