I have purchased annual passes that we will use for the first time in March. I've never had a WDW annual pass before and I understand that I will be able to get discounts. Would this be at restaurants and retail shops? Do I need to present my AP each time I make a purchase or eat? How does this all work??

Note about above post:
I have premium Fl. resident annual passes. The only difference here is I can also use the water parks and DisneyQuest, and can get into any of the clubs on Pleasure Island and the Boardwalk and I have no blackout dates.
All otehr entitlements are the same for both classes of annual pass, regular and premium.

if you are purchasing a retail item that is valid for discount, just show the cahsier you annual pass at the register.

same thing if you are purchasing food, let the server know so they can figure your bill correctly.

Pretty much the only park that does special ticketed events is MK. But MK's parking lot is the TTC and TTC is technically used for all the parks.
In practice, there were several times in 2007 I went to tape fireworks and did not have admission for the party event in MK. I showed my AP and was waved on through to park. Also, I've seen most CMs not even look closely at my AP before waving me through.

can these discounts that are being released...be applied to a pass holder who has added dining to their reservation...NOT free dining.
