EMH and Typhoon Lagoon, Animal Kingdom..

I was looking at the late July/early August park hours and noticed that Animal Kingdom and Typhoon Lagoon have extra magic hours from 8-11pm.

Does TL get the full 3 hours EMH? Is it easy and fun in the dark? Crowds?

AK has a small list of attractions open. Would the crowds here be heavy? Ive never been here in the dark, Its probably interesting. Might be a night to tour opposite the EMH.

Has anyone not seen the full 3 hour EMH evening window?

I have never done night EMH at either of these parks, but Wishy went to evening EMH at AK during her Thanksgiving trip! She had a BLAST!!!!! Not sure about evening EMH at TL, though. I am sure since it's July/August, it will be so hot that the waterparks at night would be a WELCOME way to spend an evening!

Re: EMH and Typhoon Lagoon, Animal Kingdom..

Im actually thinking that it might be good to tour away from the EMH here. Last time I wen't in Summer MK was open until 11. We had an empty park from 9-11. On the EMH night (10-1am), we were jammed.

Im guessing the waterpark should not be crowded after 8pm.

Re: EMH and Typhoon Lagoon, Animal Kingdom..

We did evening EMH's at AK in august and loved it. AK is such an interesting park at night. Even if many attractions are not open it is just nice to walk around and enjoy the park at night, It gave us a new feeling about AK. I loved it after dark!!

We did not do EMH's at TL though. It sounds like it might be a good time.

We might be going back again this august we might have to check it out.
