Which Hotel During Christmas time?
We (my boyfriend and I) are heading down to WDW Dec. 7-12. I have reservations made at POR but I'm leaning more now toward WL because of the great reviews I've read on this board. Yes, POR is lighter on the budget, but I'm hoping with the codes, I might get a good deal on the WL. So, I guess my question would be, which resort has a better Christmas time look and feel to it? I like POR because of the water taxi's to DD so I'm little concerned about how transportation is at the WL also. I know you can catch water taxi's to MK from WL, but what about getting around to the other parks? Throw me some suggestions!!!:D

WL gets my vote! If you can get the $$ together for it go for it. We just visited for the day last December, and it was beautiful. Of course so is GF. But I've always wanted to stay at WL, and to stay at Christmas time would be the best! Let us know when you decide!

I haven't seen the resorts at Christmas time in person, but from other pictures I have seen, WL looks BEAUTIFUL. Plus, there is something about a rugged Northwestern lodge and Christmastime that go together in my book...Maybe the pine connection?:D

Between POR and WL, I would go WL every time. It is great at Christmas, but then, so are all of the deluxe resorts. We took a tour of most of them this last December, but missed WL. I really like the GF, and the Poly was fun, though it is tough to get the Christmas spirit there, with all the palm trees.
