Week before Easter...?
Is that a decent time to go to DisneyWorld? I remember working at MK during easter weeks and it was torture...are the crowds high at that time? Thats my spring break this year...
Anyone remember where that crowd-counting website was...? I'm hoping by that time I'll have my pass for being a campus rep, so crowds won't matter as long as its free. I dunno.None of my friends want to go to Disney with me! I find that very sad.

Re: Week before Easter...?
I'm going the week before Easter, too (March 9-15) and according to the Touringplans.com crowd calendar it does look like it will be busy. But the way I see it, I'll be in WDW and nothing can get me down!!

Re: Week before Easter...?
How about the week after Easter?
I have heard that it is really busy up to and during easter weekend because of spring break.

School  ...I still can't believe I walked right past you and didn't say howdy.
If you have a good plan the crowds shouldn't matter as much...or that is what I've heard.

Hopefully we can find the link to see what the crowd predicter says this year. That'd be awesome for you if you can get your pass in time and get in for free. If you do get to go that week, we need to meet and say Hi since we missed you while we were in Savannah last spring break.

Re: Week before Easter...?
Our first WDW trip was in mid-late April and the weather & crowds were very good, but our kids were too young for school then. My youngest starts next fall, & I'm not looking forward to having to pull her out of a week of classes to go on vacation. But what's the worst that could happen...she misses stuff like addition, spelling, the letter V...who needs those!

Re: Week before Easter...?
My Spring Break is the week after Easter and it looks to be crowded. We were planning a last minute trip, but nothing is available from DVC and very little seems available the 21st - 30th when trying to book through the website for a normal room.

Re: Week before Easter...?
Most spring breaks of people around here in Indy are after Easter, except for ours which is the week before.

Re: Week before Easter...?
In 1992 we went the week before Easter and it was extremely crowded. In fact they closed MK the one morning for all non WDW resort guests because it reached maximum capacity.

Re: Week before Easter...?
I will be there from 3/13-3/21 and will be driving (12 hrs with 2 stops -Lord help us). I will be leaving on 3/21 to go to Myrtle Beach for the weekend, then driving the rest of the way home. We are only doing MK - PP&P party, Typhoon Lagoon, and Universal Studios (they have a Mardi Gras Party going on there). On the days we are not in the park we will go to several character dinners. I was thinking of catching the Block Party at MGM....but the crowds are a thought I hadn't considered.

Re: Week before Easter...?
We are headed down in that direction on March 15th - arriving on the 16th. We have somewhere between a 15-17 hour drive, depending on who you listen to. We leave on the 22nd.
I expect it will be crowed, but we did Thanksgiving week last year. It can't be worse than that................... I hope. ![]()
