New "Don't Waste It" @ Epcot

I am so excited! I was thinking the other day that we are all so in love with Disney. There are thousands of fans all over the world. Disney has influenced us in so many ways...if only they could do something to bring awareness of our waste and how each home can do a little that will make big changes.
Today my disney link popped up with a new message! "Don't Waste It" was the title! They have worked closely with Waste Management to make a new attraction for just that reason! I have recently become aware of my impact and the small steps I can take to help out. So I am obviously very excited especially sense I thought I was doing much better than I was. Others may have already known this as I found out my Mom knew about The Flying Dutchman way before my Disney Link told me. Being so excited about this I couldn't help but share the news incase someone else hasn't heard.
They'll have 4 different virtual games for guests to play that will take them through the waste process. These games will challenge guests to recycle, reduce and reuse. It will even determine a personal trash profile after guests answer questions. "Don't Waste It" will be housed in Innoventions in Epcot at Walt Diney World.

My kids actually really like some of the Innoventions activities. I'm glad to read they are planning on some much needed updates.

This sounds like a cool new idea. I feel like Disney could do alot more towards conservation.

BTW, does anyone know what DISNEY does about recycling? Cuz there are really NOT A LOT of recycle bins on property . . . and just the waste alone at breakfast with the plastic trays and covers is enough to say WOW, where does all this go and do they sort it after its all been thrown away?
