MNSSHP Rainout

This past Sept. we went down to WDW and we went to the MNSSHP. It poured and poured.

As we were leaving the person at the gate gave us a card to redeem for a day at the MK park. Has anyone else had this happen? Have you used your free day at the park? Was thinking of going next weeked for a quick trip, the kids don't have school on the 14th. We had a year to redeem the card....

That was a nice thing for him/them to do.

I agree with Dopey...just go and have fun. That was a kind offer as there are no rain-dates or refunds for the hard-ticket parties. Free is cool...just go and enjoy!

I was wondering what they would do if there was bad weather for the whole evening. This sets my mind at ease. Thankfully the forecast right now is for upper 80's and sun a week from Friday.

Yes it happened to us, and we used them this past trip, all you do is take your original MNSSHP tickets to the turnstiles and put them through and they work like a ticket for the day. I waited in the customer service line for them to tell me to just use them, lol

It doesn't always happen, when we went to the first PPP it rained an awful lot and they didn't give us anything as their policy is that you buy the ticket at your own risk, but at the first Halloween Party last year, it poured the whole entire night, and they were very kind!!!

We must have been, We hid out trying to stay dry most of the time. Saw the parade at like 11:30

going to the parks are definatly at your own risk, but it doesn't mean Disney isn't caring. I know the very first Pirate party in Jan of 2007 was completly miserable and freezing cold, there were a lot of refunds and rain checks that night. But when you do go and don't mind the rain, it makes doing things a whole lot nicer because every one else wants to hide.

We were there on the 14th of Sept last year and got our money back.....we went to city hall and said we would not be back within a year and got our money back.
