I just called Typhoon Lagoon about the kids club

They told me that they are not doing it and as of right now they have no plans to bring it back.

She did say to call back closer to my trip because you never know! So....anyone who is interested in the kids club should call and inquire about it. Maybe if they get a lot of calls about it they will decide to "bring it back"!

We're too old now for Kids Club, however, I do think thats a shame its not available any more.

What's the number? I looked online and only found numbers for guest relations. Is calling there the same or they connect you or something?
I wish I knew about it for our last trip because My poor Momhad to sit with the kids for us to go on anything instead of enjoying it more. My son made her ride the same thing over and over and over again.

I called guest relations (I got the # from Disneys website) and then they transfered me over to TL.

I was really hoping they still had the club. I'll be there with DD14 and DGD5 this April/May and we'll miss out on a lot because DGD5 is not very adventurous! I'm really hoping that they will start the club again!

That is half of my problem. DS 10 isn't adventurous and I would never leave him with DD 2 while DH & I went off. Thank God Mom was there with us b/c she isn't either. So we got lucky this last trip but future trips...then what! I'll get on that call!

Sorry that they're not continuing this, our kids enjoyed it in August 2007 (and it was free); they left with a bucket full of treasure from the treasure hunt they went on. We (DH and I) enjoyed a few hours by ourselves riding all the water slides our kids couldn't.

My DS did it in August too, and ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!!!! They had an AWESOME lunch and snacks and did so much! Radio Disney was even there that day...it was such a blast!

It might be jsut a test program, then it will go to review, and then it will be back for good. I think this is probably a really useful activity, and ought to be back!

I can't believe that Disney offered anything for free! I sometimes think if they could somehow charge you for the air you're breathing they would do that. I think, like Miss Disney, that it may have been a test to see if people would use it and if it had a good response they'll bring it back, but for a price. (Sort of like the pirate cruise,for example.)

I'll bet you guys are right about this. It doesn't seem like the sort of thing they would need to do to draw people into the water park, but certainly something parents would pay extra for once they got there.
