After all these years of visiting Disney, I felt that special spark of magic at the Magic Kingdom on Saturday evening. Although I love WDW, this magic isn't felt this way on all trips.

Something special was happening in "It's A Small World". I can't really explain it, but the dolls were just that much more animated, the lights were sparkling that much brighter. The song was clear, each lip moving with precision. All eyes that should wink, were; all bellies that should sway, did; all fish that should fly, flew; it was just perfect. When I got off that ride, after making my wish in the waterway, I felt so warm, so happy, so Disney.

I also felt this when we went to the "Haunted Mansion". We arrived at a perfect time - dusk. The light was low on the gravestones which set the mood. The butlers were sooo evil and fun! We were told in line for the Doom Buggies that if the person in front of us doesn't move, kill them. No one will notice.

By this time the kids are freaked out and clinging on for dear life. Dare I admit to feeling a bit "spooked" too? And getting out when it was dark out made it all the better.

Haven't been in a while? Get to the Magic Kingdom and experience the classic Disney Magic! You won't be disappointed!

Isn't it great when you just get a big dose of Disney Magic like that. When it really just hits you??

Your such a great, imaginative writer Fifi! It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside just reading your post, lol!:love: I love the HM CMs they are the funniest. I love it when they say "fill in all the dead space infront of you" lol. If you love that ride, I recommend taking the Keys tour, you learn all the history about it!

Thank you, Fifi! I needed to read a report like that! I miss the Disney Magic now more than ever!

Dh and I arrived at HM at dusk on our last trip. The nightfall does add to the "spooky" theme. Dh is cerain that he saw the face on one of the gravesones move. Could this be true?

Thanks Fifi, I love your reports! I am feeling SO depressed though knowing I'm not going anytime soon. I hate when I want something so bad, and can't make it happen. I know I'll get there again one day soon. But I think all of us go through that Post Disney Depression when we have to come back home. Problem is, i've been back home over a year :cry: I really need my Disney Fix :hmmm :D

We've also seen this CM several times on our last trip. He is so great, so in character, and then, when nobody is looking, he'll come over and tickle DD and smile at her. He's really great.
