ALERT! WDW Rumors

I just called WDW with our flight information for the ME and during the "small talk" that they have she mentioned the MNSSHP and I asked "Those dates have not been announced right?" and she said "Right" I said that was weird b/c the Christmas party has been. She said "No they have not. Nothing has been announced so do not believe anything you read online b/c it is wrong"

I said OK well what about free dining

They have so many other free dining offers that they may not have a general offer again for Sept.

She did verify what we already know, when it was announced in the past etc. but said that there is no information for 2008 and don't be surprised if if there is none at all!

I asked if there was going to be a different offer in Sept and she said that she did not know.

Don't get too upset just yet. I had a CM tell me last year that there was not going to be free dining and then they announced it the next day. All CM's are not always in-the-know and they are often incorrect in their info.

It still may happen.

A couple of weeks ago a CM called me from MGM because I wrote a letter about no PPP for August. He told me that the parties hadn't be scheduled for yet for August and by the beginning of May we'd know. I'd like to think that some research went into responding to my letter. Even if it turns out that I missed the party dates I'm going with a wait and see attitude. I've made my ADRs and plans and if need be will re-arrange a bit.

I'm still holding to what I was told by upper management about the first Halloween Party being on August 29th. Haven't been told otherwise. When they release the official dates, then we'll know for sure I guess.

If anyone checks out the sister site, Mousemisers.com, they posted last week about the "substantiated" rumor of free dining for Sept. It's due to be released in about 2 weeks for Disney Visa holders, then to the general public.

When I had to cancel my Sept trip and change it to May the CM on the phone asked me if I knew I would probally be missing out on free dining. So ya never know.. There could be hope for some of the free diners..
