Birthday ?

We will be in WDW April 18 to 22nd for a short trip. My DS who is 2 will turn 3 on April 24. So last free park admission for him! I think it would be nice to get a B-Day button for him.
But I am worried about being charged for him, if the CM's think he is three. I know I am being silly- but I am not cheating! he is very tall for his age!
WWYD?
thanks

Re: Birthday ?

I don't think it would be a problem. He is turning 3 at the park it is not like he is already 3.

Re: Birthday ?

I would do it! People bring their four and five year olds in all the time pretending they are three. CM's don't usually make a scene in front of other guests, and you arent cheating!

I really dont think the CM's are going to care. It is an early Birthday button, no biggie.

Re: Birthday ?

CM's are trained to respond really well to people with happy smiling faces. Bring a copy of the birth certificate just to show them. They will be happy to give an honest person a button.

Re: Birthday ?

I wouldn't worry about it too much if I were you. I don't think any of the cast members are going to ask to see ID for your son. We've celebrated birthdays while at WDW and have never had any problems. Just ask a CM at guest relations for the birthday button and they wll be more than happy to treat your DS to one.

Re: Birthday ?

Well, once you get in the park to get the button, the CM isn't going to ask to see his park ticket. They won't know if you bought him a ticket or not... nor do I think they would care. If you're worried that a CM might see his birthday button when park hopping, just take it off, get him in the park, and put it back on. Take advantage of his last free days without sacrificing the button! I hope he has a wonderful birthday!

we always had a copy of the boys' birth certificates in our bag. But no one ever questioned us, so we never had to pull them out. But, it sure made for peace of mind

Re: Birthday ?

I would definitely not worry. I took both of my children right before their 3rd birthday and did not have any problems. I would get the birthday pin and let him party to his little heart's content!!
