Costums @ MNSSHP
I have asked a similar question in the past, but not quite the same, so here goes. Are Adults allowed to wear costums in the parks for the party? I have been told that they don't allow it on a regular day. If we have tickets for the party, can my son & I both dress up as pirates? He would think that is so cool if it were allowed. I just don't want to get turned away at the gate, so better to know for sure about the rules, right?

yes when we were there most everyone was dress up. We were dressed as pirates my son was Captain Jack and my husband and I were part of his crew. We had a great time.

Just make sure you're only dressed up to go into the MK for the party. Someone was made to change when they tried cutting through Epcot (from international gateway to the monorails) on their way to dinner and the party at MK.

Yes! Everyone can dress up as long as you are not scary. After all it is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!

Ditto what everyone else said! We didn't dress up when we were there but honestly we were some of the only adults not dressed up. It really is so much fun..and don't forget to get lots of (FREE) candy!!

Me and 3 other people went to the MNSSHP in 2006 and we went to dinner at Epcot before the party and we were already in our costumes. Nobody said anything to us. We ate in the restaurant in the Mexico pavilion. We got some stares, but I assume people knew we were going to the Halloween party. 8 of us (4 adults, 2 preteens, and 2 teens) will be there on Oct. 13th this year and we will all be dressed up. My family is going as the Flintstones.
