Ugh, we're going the end of August for the 4th year in a row. It's pretty darn hot then, and so humid, too! I'm still looking forward to it though.

Be prepared it will be HOT! HOT! HOT! Drink lots of water and bring a washcloth from the room, so you can wet it at the water fountains and place it on your neck!

Around 1pm the FL sun it at it's hottest . . . take a break, hit the resort pool, take a nap in the A/C . . . the parks are open late in the summer months, and even though it's HOT even at night . . . you don't have the sun beating on your head . . . which is the hardest part!

WEAR SUNSCREEN!! I see so many people walking around WDW with bad sunburns . . . the FL sun burns faster then up North!

That's my tips of the day!!

And a good tip it is. While recently in Miami, we took the kids to the beach one day for a little while. In only one hour I had sun burn and I had spf 30 sunscreen on. FL sun is definitely more intense.

I agree with the part about taking a break. Get out of the sun for a bit.

Well, it's not much worse than late May. It's like there's a switch somewhere that just keeps Florida above 90% humidity and temps from 90-96 (no more, no less) when they flip it on in mid May and off in late October.

You guys are making me nervous about what it will be like in Sept. Last time we went in Sept, it was AWFUL! Please use up all the allocated number hot days for the year before we get there. Can somebody arrange that??

HOT or NOT... I can't wait to get there. It has been a rainy, cloudy, cool Spring here. and I have had enough.. the heat will be a welcome site for me.

We've had nice warm sunny days this week over here in England- only mid 70's but thats pretty warm for us- but rain is due back this evening :(
