Me and my best friend are considering a late September, early October trip the WDW, in addition to our late August, early September vaca! So hopefully we go, and I can finally go to MNSSHP!


Anyone have any advice on the party, personal stories, tips or reviews? They'd certainly help a bunch! Also, does anyone know how costumes go? Because I know if youre older than a certain age on any regular day you can't dress as a character (as to not confuse the little ones) but I was wondering how that goes with MNSSHP. Anyone know?

Stacey- MNSSHP is just fabulous, we went several times when it first started and when we used to take an Ocotber trip- of course now its on several times and it really is worth doing. The attention to detail and the atmosphere are just amazing. And although its many years since we went I do recall many grown ups and children in costume. If you've never done it I think you should and I am sure you would enjoy!

Very much worth it. We are going to our second one this year. As far as costumes, many adults are dressed up. The only stipulation as far as I know,is that you can not wear a mask. The detail is great. After the Fireworks last year, the park emptied out, and you could walk onto any attraction (not that the lines before were long).

They have trick or treat stations set up throughout the park where they hand out candy. The special parade and the other events made it a fantastic night. Well worth the extra money for the event.

You're gonna love the party. We loved it so much we're going back again this year. I think it's more fun for the BIG kids who wouldn't normally go trick or treating!

Keep your costume simple because it can get darn uncomfortable after a few hours of running around and going on rides.

We go every year. You MUST see the beginning of the parade. Watching the headless horseman is a must do every time we go. End of September, beginning of October will be a great time to go. That's when I am going. There are so many characters out and about dressed up in costumes.

We LOVED IT!! We all dressed up and had a blast. It just adds to the fun to be in costume. We did not go with the intent of riding rides so I can't comment on that part but the parade and fireworks alone are worth the extra $$.

Dressing up makes it that much better too! The kids had such a BLAST! I prefer to eat before the parties but if you want the Charecter meals as part of your experience rather than more time in the park, then go for it! All ages dressed when we went another night I saw a woman dressing as Tinkerbell and let me tell you she could have passed! The kids loved getting candy. You WILL get the song stuck in your head, we had to get the CD and listen to it 1300 miles home. It was GREAT!
Did I mention that we absolutely LOVED it? We are doing the MVMCP this year and I want to do 2 nights because I wished I did 2 nights of the MNNSHP!
