Osborne Lights ?

For those who have gone to see the Osborne Family Lights I have a question...

Typically what time are they on until? Is it 6ish until park closing or do they turn off b/f the park closes? The night I'm planning on going to see them, I want to make an ADR at Ohana before we go. Is this a bad idea? I can make the ADR for 5ish and then head over to HS for 7:00. Or should I plan on Ohana a different night and eat somewhere in HS (or somewhere close by)? I wish I knew which nights HS has late EMH!

I need to make my ADRs this weekend (yay!!) but with no park hours, no Osborne dates/hours, no Candlelite Proc dates - I feel like I'm going into this blindly!

I would say the lights are on until at least 10 pm. We were there when they turned the lights on but didn't stick around to see how long they were on.

Are you interested in a dinner at Beach Club or Baordwalk? You would be really close and could get there in a matter of minutes. Yachtman's Steakhouse always sounds good. We love Flying Fish and Spoodles gets good reviews on here as well. We tried Big River Grill last summer and had a nice meal, nothing fancy but good.

The lights stay on until the park closes. Mind you, they don't turn them off until the stragglers leave the park.

Isn't there a family who turns the lights off each night? We were there to see two kids turn them on and the family next to us was talking about coming back to turn them off later that night.

Last yr, I ran over about 15 min before closing thinking I had enough time for a quick look. It turned out they were on for a full hour after closing that night. That was early Dec.

Yep. That's pretty much how long you have after the park closes before they start telling you that you have to leave.

They were on late when we were there too. Plenty of time to see them.

Oh, that's good news. I looked on Nov park hours for last year and it showed MGM only open until 8:00. Does that sound right?

I can't wait to see the Osborne lights. I've seen video and it just looks amazing!
