bibbiti bobbitti boutique

To all those who have used this 'expereince' for their little ones....Is it worth it? Can you choose the princess you want to be? And would you recommend booking it in advance or could you just walk in to a sitting?
Thanks

We have not used it... BUT we have seen it, and it is absolutely adorable.
I would definitely book in advance and it is strongly encouraged.

Re: bibbiti bobbitti boutique

We used it last October (the location in the castle) for DD's 4 birthday! She loved it and I think that it was totally worth it to see her face. (My MIL and I were bawling our eyes out!!)

She got to pick which princess she wanted to be and which hairstyle she wanted (there are three hairstyles to choose from --- might be 4 now though with the Hannah Montana choice now... but I'm not sure.)

It was a great experience though and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!!

Re: bibbiti bobbitti boutique

How old are the little ones? I wouldn't do it sub 4 because they won't remember it. I did it for my daughter when she was 5 and it is one of her fondest memories. We couldn't get her into the pool or tub for two days.

Re: bibbiti bobbitti boutique

It's totally worth the $$$; my daughter loved the whole experience. We still get her wig out and put it on her so she can be princess for a day at home. Just make sure you do it on a day you won't be using the pool.

Re: bibbiti bobbitti boutique

I have 2 DDs, and they have done BBB at both DTD and MK. The first time we did it was in DTD when it was fairly new. Youngest DD was only 2, but she absolutely LOVED it! She is a MONKEY--she can't be still EVER, but she sat just like a princess in the chair and let her Fairy Godmother fix her up. The next year, when she was 3, we did it in the castle at MK, and, once again, my little monkey sat like a little princess. Oldest DD has thought she was a princess since the day she was born, so this was the perfect experience for her.

As far as choosing your princess, hairstyle, etc. . . . there are different packages. We have done the least expensive package both times. It is only your hairstyle and makeup. We make our kids save their own money for spending money on our WDW trips, and my girls don't want to spend it all on BBB, but you can do some really big packages!

I think the experience is definitely worth it! My girls have some wonderful memories from BBB!

I'm on DH's computer right now, but I'll post some of my girls' pics when I can get on my computer.

I was thinking about doing for my girls, but I am not sure my 7 year could sit still, but my 5 would die for it.

Re: bibbiti bobbitti boutique

Your 7 year old would sit still. It isn't just getting done up. They have a hand in choosing everything.

Re: bibbiti bobbitti boutique

Absolutely worth every penny. The kids love it and they are treated like, well, princesses. There are different package to choose from, not princesses per se.

The photos are so priceless and precious. I am really happy my DD wanted to do it.

Definitely make a reservation as this is very popular.

Re: bibbiti bobbitti boutique

well I think after reading all your replies this is most certainly a MUST DO!!!! WOW! I never realised it was this popular! DD is 5 now so it seems she is the perfect age to go for it. When we go on vacation we really max it and don't mind splashing out on things as we figure we work hard we can play hard too- but I can't stand paying for things that are so not worth it. However, from the responses from you guys this seems to be worth every penny. Thanks for your help- I knew I could rely on you for help!

Re: bibbiti bobbitti boutique

We took DD to BBB in the castle the day after the opening last year. I had already had an appointment, thank goodness, because it was packed! There are several packages to choose for various cost, and once there, you are given a "menu" of sorts, to choose the look that your princess wants. I think it is a wonderful experience, and have already booked it again for out September trip. We like to have her go before the halloween party, so she's all decked out for the event!

I think I might do this for our next trip to DW in December. Does anyone have the link to make reservations? How far in advance can you make them?

407 wdw style is the number I used . . . we went to the DTD location, because we were doing PPP that night . . . and Grandma and Grandpa didn't want to use a day on their tickets to do it! I believe you can make reservations 180 days out, and I'd recommend it!

WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!! One of my old TRs has all the pics . . . my DD8 and DD4 d it!! We only did the smaller $49.95 package (they go up to $250) which was hair, make up and nails (my kids would NEVER wear the dresses all day!) They had a BALL . . . I would recommend it at least once. Then go to CRT to eat . . . Cinderella comments to my DD4 "I see the fairy Godmother got a hold of you!"
