Family of 5 and rides

Can anyone tell me which rides can accomodate 3 people across at once in the same car (or whatever the place where the people ride is called)? My kids have experienced amusement park rides before but never ones with the level of themeing the Disney has and I do not want them to freak out. I am hoping that some rides can hold hubby and two kids at the same time (three across) and I would ride with the third boy (two across).

Thanks!

Many of the rides hold three. My DH and I would switch sometimes I would ride with 2 kids and sometimes he would. Just a note my DH and oldest DH are 6'4 and 6'2 so if your kids are still small you'll have no problems. Just a few I remember we rode as threesome.

Rock and Roll Coaster
Small World
Haunted Mansion
Pirates of Caribbean
Kali River Rapids
Space Mountain
Buzz Lightyear
and on and on

How do we know if a ride can accomodate three, will it be posted on a sign, will we see others doing it or ask a cast member?

I just want to be able to prepare the kids before we get to the boarding area as to who will ride with Dad and whether the older two will be together without an adult in the vehicle. That sort of stuff.

Thanks!

Honestly I can't remember if anything was posted. Some of the rides have lanes that you enter and the cast members will ask how many in your party. Cast member always ask how many in our party for most of the rides. My three kids rode on almost everything in groups of two or three. We never had any problems with the one of the kids riding alone. I wish I could be more helpful. One suggestion would be to email disney. You can e-mail them by going to there main disney.com website. Do a search for General FAQ and that should get you to where you can e-mail them. They e-mailed me back in a matter of hours.

I can think of several that allow 3 at least .. for example splash mountian .. 2 adults and a small child .. thundermountian 2 in each seat. piraites at least 4 maybe 5 if small child in one row. peter pans flight 2 and 2 maybe one small child. there are just so many rides that I dont think there is a way to least all of them and how they seat you .. dumbo thats a 2 in each.. snow white 2 front 2 back .. maybe a small child in with 2HM I know at least 2 and a small child can ride in one doombuggy, they do keep all in your party together. I am assuming that you must have at least one small child since you feel they may freak out.
