Re: Which waterpark....
I have never been to Blizard Beach, but I love Typhoon Lagoon. The wave pool is awesome.

Re: Which waterpark....
I like both of them, they both have an area for the littler kids to play in. I think my kids 7 and 4 enjoyed Typhoon Lagoon more because they had lots of sand to play in. But I believe Blizzard Beach has sand to play in too. We went a couple of years ago to BB.

Re: Which waterpark....
From what I remember and by the advice of friends, TL seems better for little ones. They all tell me to go to BB for a DS17 and DSS12.

Re: Which waterpark....
They both have really neat children's areas with sand, water play, and little water slides for the younger ones. I don't think you will go wrong either way.

Re: Which waterpark....
I think TL is nicer...they not only have a kids area, but a LITTLE KIDS area, I think you must be under 8 or something...we did not go, our kids were a little too big, but I remember checking it out and thinking how nice it was. Also, there is lots and lots of sand, and the wave pool has shallow areas.
The kids area in BB is great for my 7-11 years olds, but a too much for real little ones - the zip line into the water, walking on the iceburg pieces....there are some slides and stuff that are okay for the little ones, but I consider this an area for big kids primarily. I dont like BB anyway because of the HUGE and scary steep slides that I know my kids will want to try...at least until they get up there...and I DONT! The lines are usually long and I am dreading this....but they LOVE BB!

Re: Which waterpark....
I have to go with TL for kids your age. IMHO, BB is for teenagers and adults. Not to say our kids (8,6,3 at the time) did not like both.

Re: Which waterpark....
I am interested in this as well. We may be going in August, and I was hoping we would get a chance to try a waterpark. My boys are not great swimmers, but they love the water. Thanks for starting this thread.

Re: Which waterpark....
You can't go wrong with either park but BB seemed to be more child friendly. They have a great child area for little ones called Tikes Peak.

Re: Which waterpark....
I have never been to any of the water parks, but have heard that Typhoon Lagoon is a "milder" park and better suited for the squeemish
