Re: A ride question

Reading the previous posts . . . looks like the list of rides that are "okay" to miss would be a whole lot shorter!!

Our family faves:

Soarin'
Test Track
Kilaminjaro Safari
Expedition Everest
Tower of Terror
Rockin' Rollercoaster
Space Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Splash Mountain

We have other faves, of course, but these are the ones we HAVE to do and do more than once each trip.

Re: A ride question

Tell them not to miss anything if they can!
My children are older (13 and 9) but we still hop on the Winnie the Pooh Ride and Dumbo Etc.
If they only have a limited time then all the ones posted before are great ones.
And I was facinated by Hall of Presidents, no matter how outdated and educational it is!

Re: A ride question

All the roller coasters (Space Mtn, Big Thunder, Everest, RnRCoster, Primevel Whirl)
All the simulator rides (Star Tours, Mission Space, Soarin')
All the 3D/4D theaters (It's Tough..Bug, Philharmagic, Honey I Shrunk, Muppetvision)
These Dark Rides (Splash Mountain, Dinosaur, Pirates, Haunted Mansion)
Shoot and ride (Buzz Lightyear, Toy Story Midway Mania)
Other stuff (The Seas with Nemo, Laugh Floor, Tower of Terror, Kali River Rapids, Kilimanjaro Safari)
Look for short wait times and targets of opportunity. Sometimes walking on to Winnie the Pooh is more rewarding than waiting 60 minutes for Dumbo.
Also, ride the railroads in both AK and MK and the MK and Epcot monorails. They're not rides per se, but, especially the monorails, they are very much WDW highlights)
Night time (Wishes, IllumiNations, Fantasmic, SpectroMagic)

I forgot Test Track. Or did I?

I agree, so here is my list of "okay" to miss if you must:

MK - Splash Mountain
I've never been a big fan of the rides where I get drenched with water!

AK - Kali Rapids
Same logic as Splash Mountain! The rest of my day seems to be shot if I have to walk around all wet!

HS - Star Tours
Not a bad ride, but I think the others (RnR, ToT,GMR) are much better.

Epcot - Soarin'
This probably surpirses some, and while it is a pretty good ride, the wait & lines are ridiculous for such a short ride. You can do A LOT more with the time you'll spend waiting for this ride, EVEN if you have a Fastpass (I think the FP line my last trip was over 30 mins).

Prezcatz Paul

PS - This is post #400 for me!
