My children, DD11 and DS9 are dying to go on Summit Plummet and I am too scared to go, much less to let them go. Other than Mission: Space, which makes me ill, this is the only ride I am "scared" of.
What are/were you scared of that you have conquered? (or continue to be scared of?) at WDW? Dont worry, I wont make fun...I have a girlfriend who was freaked out on the People Mover...no lie! (She wont be joining us again this year...)LOL

Re: What rides are Too Scary for you?
I am kind of an adrenaline junkie, so I tend to be excited by new challenges!
Summit Plummet was the only thing that gave me serious pause, though. I was 15 and after waiting for an hour in the heat, I got to the top of that thing and started having major second thoughts!! I will tell you this much....I wouldn't do Summit Plummet again. I'm glad I can say I did it (it's worth conquering) but it was absolutely not worth the PAIN! I had bruises from that thing!!!I prefer to stick to Slush Gusher and slightly smaller slides that still give me a thrill but no injuries! ![]() (Oh and honestly? I'm not that big a fan of Snow White's Scary Adventures! lol)

Re: What rides are Too Scary for you?
The orange Mission Space. It's the only one I can't muster up the courage to try. I LOVE all of the other rides! Oh, I don't like Primeval Whirl but not that it scares me, it gives me whiplash and my neck can't take it!

Re: What rides are Too Scary for you?
It's funny, I was NEVER scared of "thrill rides" per say. I had been riding Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain the moment I was tall enough, probably back in '84 when I was 6 years old. I always wanted to "go fast" and even craved going upside down when I was little.
What scared the bejesus outta' me, and still does, is when you get too close to the "audioanimatronics" or any sort of moving 'fake' characters. My parents used to make me go on Snow White's Scary Adventure when I was little and just thought it was the FUNNIEST thing when I would cover my eyes & get scared. STILL TO THIS DAY those scary trees with faces & the witch gives me the hee-bee-jee-bees. I am also scared of some of the audioanimatronics on Spaceship Earth (the one guy lying his head on a desk with a quill in his hand), and a couple in Pirates. ![]()

I'm fearless.
![]() Nah.... when I was a kid, I got a little freaked out on Spaceship Earth. Those animatronics were creepy! And it went so slow.... and uphill.... like I was upside down. Eek!!! And the Hall of Presidents kinda creeped me out. They'd like make sudden movements. Scary.... And the Great Movie Ride. Hated the gangster scene.

Re: What rides are Too Scary for you?
Good grief, that gives me the creeps just reading about it. The only ride that scares me is Splash Mt.. I ride it, but just for a second or two I panic just before the plunge.

That seriously sounds like the kind of dreams I had when I was little! Glad I wasn't the only one!! (Though mine were usually inspired by the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland....even though I loved that ride! )

Re: What rides are Too Scary for you?
I can't say there are any that scare me, but I will say that Mission:Space makes me sick to my stomach. I really feel terrible after I ride it and think I will sit it out on our next trip!

Re: What rides are Too Scary for you?
I cannot go on Tower of Terror, RnrC or Space Mountain. Well, I went on space mountain, cause Ivanker told me to, but I was so scared, I called her all sorts of names in my head

Re: What rides are Too Scary for you?
I've never been brave enough to do the orange Mission: Space. I'm afraid I'll
! The Yeti on EE kinda freaks me out. I always feel like he's really going to grab me and gobble me up . . . but it's a good and funny kind of scared.

Re: What rides are Too Scary for you?
The scariest ride at Disney is Small World...bar none!!!
Diabolical how they sneak it in at Fantasyland.
