Two way radios
My DH is a huge pin trading fan. I was thinking of getting a set of radios so that DD and I could ride attractions while he was trading.
Has anyone used radios in the park? Any comments? Thanks Amy aka Pudge

Go for the radios !!! They work great !!
We didn't bring ours this year (BIG mistake) and relied on our sprint phones which worked terrible for us while in the Disney area.

Are there any certain cell carriers that work better than others within the parks? My wife and I have T-Mobile, while my parents have Cingular (I believe). While I have nation-wide on my plan, I have problems in certain areas.
Thanks! ![]()

We use the motorolla talk abouts and they work very well. Occasionally some interference and there is always the possibility of someone hearing my conversation but it's not like I'm giving out top secret info. We also have our Verizon cell phones but only use them if we can't get through on the radios - which only happened once.

I just found out last year if you have a nextel direct connect from any state, they work well in the parks or the state for that matter. I do have the Motorolla radios. They are great but Nextel direct connect is better.
